Here in New Smyrna Beach, an area known as the “Shark bite capital of the World” , we’re celebrating the sun peeking out between the last of the fronts called a nor’easter that are keeping the fisherman off the water for now. Choppy seas and high winds may prevail as the Ides of March are still upon us.
For the meanwhile, the boat yards are busy shuffling yachts and trawlers to get their annual maintenance chores performed. For the CANA, we had some major engine work on the port motor including a new turbo, manifold and tune up.
Dates are starting to fill up and we’re looking forward to a prosperous summer with lots of fish memories. Remember to mix it up on your next Disney vacation, we can arrange shuttle transport for a memorable day on the water!
~ See you on the water
Last weekend I had the honor of being asked to speak as a panelist for George Poveromo's National Seminar Series at the Daytona International Speedway. It was my first time public speaking for fishing and I had a great time sharing my tips and speaking to people trying to perfect their craft.
I think I'll continue pursuing more of these events, I realize that my joy of fishing is overshadowed by my satisfaction of seeing people progress with becoming better anglers.
